A Titanic Day of Fun and Living History for everyone at the Titanic Vintage Day 2010! Entry is FREE! Presented by AutoRegister and www.whatsonni.com, this year’s Titanic Vintage Day will take place on Saturday 14th August from 10am to 4pm at the Titanic’s Dock & Pump-House.
Once again the Titanic Vintage Day invites you and your family to experience and enjoy a celebration of Northern Ireland’s history and heritage.
Visitors will be able to view and admire vintage and classic cars from car clubs all over Northern Ireland, browse and buy at the ‘Vintage Fair’ which will be showcasing the best NI has to offer from suppliers of Antiques, Vintage Clothes, Jewelery, Vanity Ware, Models, Records, Cards and much more.
The fair will once again take place in the Studio Room of the Pump House, which showcases treasures dating from the early 1900s to the 1970s, and discover the story behind Belfast’s maritime magic by taking a guided tour of the Pump House and Dock.
Bouncy castles and face painting will provide some added fun and entertainment for the kids and Living History and Boat tours mean there is something for everyone at this year’s Titanic Vintage Day.
We would encourage visitors to dress for the occasion with prizes to be won for best dressed couple, best dressed boy and best dressed girl. Prizes have been kindly sponsored by Hastings Hotels, The Modellers Nook and whatsonni.com.
A café and visitor centre are also on site, and HMS Caroline is berthed nearby at Alexander Wharf, a few minutes walk from the Pump House.
Sponsored by the Northern Ireland Science Park, Entrance to Titanic Vintage Day is free, with the exception of the guided tours.
