The Nomadic Charitable Trust is made up of 12 trustees that include key stakeholders, historians, maritime experts and enthusiasts. To date, they have commenced the fundraising strategy to assist the restoration project and completed a full economic appraisal, which aims to help to shape their project moving forward. Their next step is to carry out a detailed conservation management plan to ensure they preserve the original features onboard the Nomadic before commencing a phased process of restoration. When restored, the Nomadic will take pride of place in Hamilton Dock, behind the Odyssey complex. A big thank you to Belfast Harbour Commissioners and Titanic Quarter for making Hamilton Dock available to us.
